I think it is good that you are re-thinking the mission and the approach. We have seen more basics of our American culture challenged in the last 10 years than we saw in the 100 years before. One thought I have wanted to share with many of you in leadership positions for your kind of organizations: I am retired and live on very limited income. And while I would like to give generously to every request that comes with an URGENT CRISIS headline- I simply can’t. And 90% of the material I receive from every conservative group is asking for money. It is like I can’t vote in your poll unless I contribute- I can’t comment – I can’t be heard unless I pay. So are you just a front for a money business or are you seriously concerned about the issues. A $100 donation from me is half my grocery money for 3 weeks. A $100 for your group is a round of drinks while lobbying somewhere. I would really like to see true conservative groups have a place for people like me to be heard, without regard to financial ability. Not that it is the same, exactly, but to be able to even Email Bill O’Rielly I have to be a member. If Bill is pationate about his purposr, he would be far more credible if everything about his message wasn’t tied to sending money first.

I think a lot of us are re-booting—evaluating what’s happening around us and, hopefully, “girding our loins” for the battles ahead. We may have to adjust our communications to be more effective, and restructure our foundations for extra security. I hope that is what you are doing.

That’s sure the way it should have always remained. No matter how the liberal left tries to spin it – boys and girls are born DIFFERENT (and thank God!) – it’s the natural order. But through the Obama years – it seems all sanity and common sense was thrown to the four winds, and our natural order attacked. It needs to return back to sanity – and fast!

Our young have been ‘experimented’ on for too long by left, and if it isn’t stopped soon, our country will never be the same as the children will soon be our future. As it is now, we are ‘hanging on’ – but people, particularly parents – have to push this insanity back to the dark evil pit where it belongs. I am so tired of our children’s innocence being attacked – through the left’s monopoly on the school system, the media, and Hollyweird (spelling intentional)!

And, I’m also really sick of the left constantly trying to emasculate the male population!

In my opinion the Boy Scouts should always be the Boy Scouts. If the girls want to be scouts, let them have their Girls Scouts. Won’t be long the girls will be sleeping with the boys on scouting trips. I say keep the Boys in the Boy scouts and to hell with the idiots that want to mix the girls with them. What will happen went the boys pee in the woods and the girls stand around and watch them. Then they go home and tell their parents the boys peed in the woods and we saw their weenies. Then the parents will complain to the scout master about the boys peeing in the woods. Then there will be squabbling of the parents and then scouting will fall apart. I was in the scouts many years ago and I would not want them in my scout troop. That’s my opinion and will never change. paul

I believe the best is to create a new ‘Boy Scouts’ with the cooperation of the communities and churches across America and get the members of the former ‘Boy Scouts’ who were not happy with the change to join the new ‘Boy Scouts’; there is no reason that we can’t do it, it is our rights don’t let them take it away.

Donald Barry, you’re absolutely right! Things have been spiraling the drain for years and now we’re left with the results. I applaud the Mormon Church for all they’ve done with the Boy Scouts for decades, and I wholeheartedly support their complete withdrawal since the originally excellent organization of Scouts has been infested and polluted with Liberalism, Socialism, and moral degeneracy.

I used to be a Scoutmaster. I’m proud of my former scouts and I’m proud of myself to have been their leader. I taught them self-sufficiency, clean living, honesty, patriotism and a love of our nation, its history, our flag, and our inspired Constitution.

I’m heartbroken to see what once was to become something dispicable, vile, disgusting. I hope the Mormon Church will band with other church organizations to formulate and organize an adequate replacement for what used to be the Boy Scouts of America

No doubt, with its huge resources and tons of dedecated, moral members the Mormons will establish a great replacement organization. I hope, however, that they will be energetic in seeking the inclusion and participation of other churches. They’ve a history of being friendly to other churches despite their efforts to evangelize and convert members of other churches to their belief system.

That, I think, is the very nature of evanglical Christian churches and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s normal for people to want others to believe as they do, especially when they believe that their conversion to their own belief system would be beneficial to the converts.

That’s completely understandable to me. I hope all Christian churches and as many Jewish Synagogues who are involved with their youth in similar ways will be interested and included.

It’s the youth of our nation we’re talking about here! We CANNOT let them be deprived of the training and experiences of belonging to patriotic, morally decent, patriotic life experiences and God help us if we do!!!!!!!

It is truly a sad day. Unfortunately these unwanted changes have been in the works for decades and we have allowed them to happen. Just as we allowed the Obamas to get elected. However, I’ve gotten off topic. With regard to the scouts (Boys and Girls), It is sad to see both organizations lose their original focus. To address this issue, I also believe a new organization must be created with the support of Christian beliefs. Unless I’m wrong, the Mormon Church has done this as soon as these changes started appearing in the Boy Scouts. This might be a model to look at. Unfortunately, starting and supporting an organization of this intended size takes money. The Mormon Church has that money and manpower. Someone needs to kick this off the Starting Line.

They took the boy out of Boy Scouts because it is another way to try and hurt white males. You see they are pushing gay agenda (and transgender) and are putting down white males on a daily basis. A few students filled suits against a couple of colleges (forgot the names) for discrimination as female enrollment has purposely been allowed to exceed male enrollment. All of this was started for the most part with Obama. Remember same sex bathrooms! We need to fight back, and creating another boy scouts is not the answer. Hopefully, enough enlightened parents will pull their children from this organization. Did you hear about the “scout” leader who wants to distribute condoms at a scout festival! It is getting sicker by the hour – the destruction of our culture and society moral values – we must not put up with it – we need to fight back – not give in. And yes, those of you dumping Netflix is a great way to do this – can you imagine what the Obamas will be creating to futher destroy our youth and brain-wash them with the agenda of the far radical left!
