CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT TIME First off, we want to thank each and every one of you for helping keep our page one of the largest and most active liberty minded pages on Facebook! With nearly a million and a half fans/likes and 1,000+ new likes added per week we are, without question, a top freedom advocate on Facebook. Second, we want to say that our candidate endorsement decision is not made lightly. Nor is it an endorsement we make to try and force you to come to the same conclusion. We hope you'll all respect that this is simply our opinion. If you disagree that's fine and we fully respect your position. Third, we want to state up front that our staff were ALL in the corner of a candidate other than Donald Trump in the primary. We're very familiar with the concerns on Trump and we very much share many of those concerns. It should also be known that several of our staff have voted third party in the past and we do not at all pull the lever based on party. In fact, it's our belief the two party system has corrupted our government and caused significant damage to our Republic. Fourth, we do not make this endorsement under the explanation of the "lesser of two evils" argument that is often prominent across social media. For us this isn't about the lesser of two evils. A scenario that existed for us when it came to John McCain and Mitt Romney (Some of our staff voted third party in both of those elections). For us this is about buying time with the bonus of a certain reality that if Donald Trump actually does some of what he promises we will be better off for it. For us this is about extending preservation of our great nation, avoiding world war for a bit longer and living to fight another day. If Hillary Clinton is elected we believe the following will happen. - War with Russia will quickly become a reality (Clinton consistently calls for a no-fly zone in Syria, an act that will assuredly result in Russia engaging the U.S. in full on war) - The Supreme Court will be a new legislative body for Anti-American policy for decades to come. - Our healthcare system will be dealt a final death blow and forced into single payer. - TPP will be signed, sending what is left of our economy into its grave. - Taxes will skyrocket to levels we can't even fathom. - Clinton will further corrupt our federal agencies, creating a federal government that is fully rogue and acting outside any sensible level of control by We The People. Among many, many other terrible realities that will rip the foundation of our nation apart at the seams. We believe our founding fathers often had to make decisions they would prefer not make with the understanding that they were playing a strategic chess like situation on a game board that had its pieces stacked against them. We believe that if Hillary Clinton is elected we as a nation will not live to fight another day. And that's a risk we're simply not willing to take. We will not gamble with our nation as the collateral. Our staff will be voting for Donald Trump here in Wisconsin next Tuesday. -The LibertyNEWS Team
